Step one: Explore Opportunities

Step two: Search and apply
Visit https://www.ironwoodsprings.com/contact1 to apply for internship positions. Internship applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
Step three: Ironwood Springs review process
After you complete your application for employment, we’ll review your application and qualifications. Candidates are selected for interviews based on academic background, extracurricular activities and life experience.
Step four: Interviews
If you are selected, you’ll be invited to participate in the interview process, which in most cases is onsite, but we can accommodate virtual interviews.
Step five: Offer decisions
A decision is usually made within a few weeks of the final interview. Ironwood Springs administration will stay in touch with you throughout the recruiting process, and we ask that you do the same. We welcome you to ask questions, request additional information or let us know if you have received another offer

About our Summer Gap Year Program
The best thing about embarking on a summer gap year program is that you can do it as an in-between. In between high school and college, in between university and getting a graduate job, or even just in between junior and senior year. With so many options, why not take the opportunity to serve at Ironwood!
Ironwood's summer gap year program gives you the chance to learn new skills or refresh old ones, take time out to discover new places, or even gain some valuable real-world experience. Whether it's learning valuable life skills through service to our programs, or supporting our unique equine program, there are plenty of adventures awaiting if you choose to do a summer gap year program here at Ironwood. The best thing is, you'll also give your resume and college application a boost, while still having a great time doing meaningful work. And, you'll no doubt meet new people and get to see and do things you never would have imagined while making a genuine difference in the lives of those we serve! We are looking for youth either going into their junior or senior year in high school or college-aged to help with our programs for disabilities, autism, and military families and also for helping with many of the general camp needs throughout the summer. You will enjoy working with a fun team while also growing your faith throughout the summer. Position includes room and board for the summer if desired.
The primary role for Activities Staff at Ironwood Springs is to lead guests in a variety of staffed activities, providing a safe and positive experience for all participants. Our staffed activities include Zip Line, Challenge Course, Slip and Slide, Bouldering Wall, Archery, BB Guns, and Slingshot. Activities Staff will also provide help in many other spots when not doing guest activities such as cleaning, maintenance, groundskeeping, or kitchen help. There is potential for staying on site during the summer as part of a team.
Approximate employment period would be from early June to mid-late August but will work with you on schedule. Must be 16 or older.
Summer Wranglers are capable, dependable, hard-working, horse and people lovers!
Wrangler horse staff need to have a good working knowledge of how to handle horses and the equipment and proficiently ride at a walk, trot and lope.
We are looking for experienced riders who can lead trail rides during the summer, mainly on weekends. Must be customer-service oriented and enjoy working with guests.
