Learn More picJourney Day Camp
For boys and girls going into 1st- 3rd grade in the fall of 2018

This camp gives young campers an introduction to Ironwood’s Journey youth camp experience without staying overnight. Campers will experience indoor and outdoor activities such as zip line, mini golf, pony rides and archery while learning God’s Word. 



 
Learn More picLaunch: June 18-22
For boys and girls going into 3rd-5th grade in the fall of 2018

During a week of Launch camp at Ironwood your child will experience chapel services, intended to help them learn about the Bible and grow in their relationship with God. The rest of the days are filled with other activities, like archery, mini golf, swimming, BIG games, small groups, team building activities, and much more.


Horsemanship Option: Sign up for horsemanship while attending camp at Ironwood Springs. Horsemanship includes indoor western riding lessons and outdoor scenic trail rides. Campers will learn about horse behavior, horse care, horse colors and breeds, how to catch and lead a horse, how to groom a horse and more. Limited spots available so sign up early!! Riders must be 8 years of age or older.

For boys and girls going into 6th-8th grade in the fall of 2018

For this camp, campers can choose to participate in a 'track' for the week of camp. Click on the "Learn More" button to read more about camp including the different tracks campers can choose from.  This will be a great opportunity for campers to learn new skills as well as walk deeper into their faith in Jesus Christ.

For those going into 9th-12th grade in the fall of 2018

Encounter is a week full of community with other campers, staff members, and God. All of our classic camp activities are taken to the next level.  Along with BIFFER, cabin clean up, big games, and team building activities, many unique and special events are planned.   Our speaker and worship team will encourage campers to share what they have learned at camp, and put it to use after they leave camp and enter their personal mission field.

For the first time this year, we are offering tracks for Encounter camp!

Horsemanship Option: A horse intense camp for youth entering 9th-12th grade in the fall of 2018. Horse activities will include indoor western riding lessons, outdoor scenic trail riding, grooming, saddling, training demonstrations, and more!  Limited spots available so sign up early!  We require that anyone registering for this camp weigh 225# or less. For the safety of the rider and consideration of our horses this rule will be strictly enforced.



Learn More picSOAR (Spiritual Outdoor Adventure Retreat): July 5-8 
For boys and girls going into 6th-10th grade in the fall of 2018

During SOAR, campers will experience outdoor adventures in camping, fishing, archery, canoeing and more. Other activities will include devotions, Bible studies, zip line, low events challenge course and a trail ride. Limit of 20 participants.

HORSE CAMPS

For kids age 8+
Beginner Horse Day Camp:
July 23 - July 27, 2018 (Session I)
July 30 - August 3, 2018 (Session II)


Intermediate Horse Day Camp:
Aug 6-10, 2018 


Advance Horse Camp (Overnight):
July 5-7, 2018
 
Horse Day Camps run from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. each day and lunch is provided. These camps are for riders with beginner to intermediate experience and want to go to the next level. Horse activities will include indoor western riding lessons, outdoor scenic trail riding, grooming, saddling, training demonstrations, leather crafts and more!! Non-horsemanship activities will include devotions and bible studies. The camp ends with a horse show for the parents in Castner Riding Arena.  We require that anyone registering for this camp weigh 225# or less. For the safety of the rider and consideration of our horses this rule will be strictly enforced.
