For boys and girls going into 1st- 3rd grade in the fall of 2018

This camp gives young campers an introduction to Ironwood’s Journey youth camp experience without staying overnight. Campers will experience indoor and outdoor activities such as zip line, mini golf, pony rides and archery while learning God’s Word.

June 16-21

For boys and girls going into 3rd-5th grade in the fall of 2019

During a week of Launch camp at Ironwood your child will experience chapel services, intended to help
them learn about the Bible and grow in their relationship with God. The rest of the days are filled with other activities like archery, mini golf, swimming, BIG games, small groups, team building activities, and much more.

Horsemanship Option: Hay is for horses! The horsemanship option for campers will be a fun, horse filled activity time of learning about horses, how they think and how God made them unique must like each of us. The campers will not only be learning basics about groundwork and safety, but also will be riding both inside with obstacles & games, and outside on the scenic trails at the ranch. Limited spots available so sign up early! Riders must be 8 years of age or older.

June 23-28

For boys and girls going into 6th-8th grade in the fall of 2019

Quest is a classic overnight camp offering tracks in horsemanship, cooking, art, shooting sports and robotics. This camp provides an opportunity for campers to learn new skills as well as walk deeper into their faith in Jesus Christ.

July 7-12

For those going into 9th-12th grade in the fall of 2019

Encounter is a week full of community with other campers, staff members and God. All of our classic camp activities are taken to the next level. Along with BIFFER, cabin clean up, BIG games, and team building activities, many unique and special events are planned. Our speaker and worship team will encourage campers to share what they have learned at camp, to put it to use after they leave camp and enter their personal mission field.

Track options include: horsemanship, cooking, art, shooting sports and robotics.

For boys and girls going into 6th-10th grade in the fall of 2019

During Spiritual Outdoor Adventure Retreat (S.O.A.R.), campers will experience outdoor adventures in camping, fishing, archery, canoeing and more. Other activities will include devotions, Bible studies, zip line, low ropes challenge course and a trail ride. Limit of 20 participants. 



  

Horse Day Camps

Horse intense day camps are from 8-4, with lunch and snack provided. Campers will not only learn about horses, but will also learn how horses think and how they can be taught. Having fun and being safe while leading, saddling and riding a horse are a top priority. The day will include devotion and bible time, along with other fun activities outside the barn like ziplining, swimming and bonding with fellow campers on the challenge course. Riders must weigh 225# or less.

NEW! Advanced rider overnight camp will check list a camper’s horse skill-set throughout the experience to ensure safety and fun. Throughout this three day, two night horsemanship experience, campers will learn how God created horses so we can learn more about ourselves! Through groundwork and riding, campers will learn how feel, timing and balance play an important role in our communication with horses and people. Riders must be able to walk, trot and lope comfortably and weigh 225# or less.
